Lady June Press was founded by Rosa Sophia Godshall in 2015 after the death of her brother, Miles Dylan, the author of Sphere of Influence: An Approach to Self-Defense. The book honors his life and his life’s work and is available in both a first and a second special edition.

Lady June Press was named for June Umland, Rosa and Miles’s grand aunt, who was murdered by her husband in 1959. The overall goal of Lady June Press is to honor the lives and memories of those who’ve come before us.

Rosa Sophia Godshall’s work has been published in Philadelphia Stories Magazine, Sentience Literary Journal, SoFloPoJo, Islandia Journal, Thimble Literary Magazine, Limp Wrist, and others. She is also the author of Village of North Palm Beach: A History (The History Press, 2020). She was the recipient of the 2023 Christopher F. Kelly Award for Poetry, sponsored by the Academy of American Poets, through Florida International University. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a degree in automotive technology. She is also the managing editor of Mobile Electronics magazine, a publication for the aftermarket car audio industry.
